Pirate This Game 🏴☠️ - a pirate ship management game with rogue-lite elements.
In Pirate This Game you are put in charge of a Pirate ship and sent to explore the oceans.
Throughout intense encounters with other ships and mysterious island explorations improve your crew and ship to stay ahead of the challenges.
As you explore and fight you will learn about the secrets of the oceans and be given the ability to hide treasure.
If your ship is sunk, do not worry you can start a new run and use previous knowledge to explore even farther.
During the high sea encounters you will have to order your crew to different tasks dependent on their abilities and urgency (taking car of that fire might be more important than fishing). You will also be able to control your boat to position it in the most strategically way possible.
Multiple ships and crews will be available to choose from and unlock. Each crew/ship will be based upon an animal and come with different gameplay mechanics.
The game includes all of the expected pirate activities such as stealing booty, tricking opponents, launching daring boarding maneuvers and singing sea shanties.
Anthony is an astrophysicist by trade who decided, after developing a board game and multiple jam games, to work on his first commercial title “Pirate this Game” as a solo developer.
